Dr Medhanie Amarasekara is a GP Registrar at Clocktower Medical Centre.
Medhanie’s medical training and hospital work have allowed her to gain experience in a wide range of clinical settings.
These experiences have helped her develop a strong interest in caring for people as a whole, not just treating individual illnesses.
Medhanie has chosen General Practice because she values building long-term relationships with patients and supporting individuals and families throughout their lives. Her goal is to work as a GP who provides caring, accessible healthcare and is actively involved in the local community
Medhanie has a special interest in: chronic disease management, child health, immunisations, mental health and women s health. She is available for appointments Monday to Friday.
