- Yellow fever is a serious virus that has no specific treatment, therefore vaccination is highly recommended.
- Yellow fever is transmitted by infected mosquitoes, and is called yellow fever as the skin can turn yellow
- If you are traveling to Africa, the Caribbean, Central or South America you should be aware of the risk of yellow fever transmission and take necessary precautions.
